Dreams Natura - Day 2 - Resort Tours

I woke up and had some room service for breakfast.  The room service situation is a bit unique at this resort.  You can order via the tablet in your room OR you can call it in.  I would recommend calling it in if you have any modifications.  I ordered my omelets with no cheese via the tablet, and it came with extra cheese, so I’m guessing it’s an error in the programming.  Also, they have pictures on the tablet with a disclaimer that the item you will receive won’t look like the photo or have the same ingredients.   That all being said, it’s a super nice service to have, but highly recommend calling with modifications! 

We had a day full of site tours, so we met in the lobby at 8:15 and began our adventure!

Hyatt Vivid Grand Island 

This property is brand new and had just opened weeks prior.  I REALLY loved this property.  I liked the vibes, I loved the look of the pools, I loved the rooftop pool bar.  This is a place I’d want to spend my time.  I will say for people that are looking for immediate beach access, there is not that at this property, BUT they do have a beach club on the beach with transportation to and from the resort.  The Beach Club was beautiful and included a restaurant so you wouldn’t have to travel back and forth to the resort.  The Beach Club has a structure with lots of seating as well as the restaurant upstairs, but then also has stairs down to the beach with additional seating.   They are currently building a connecting resort next door that will be connected by a skybridge.  This property will house the spa for both properties. 

Honestly though, sit me in one of the lounge chairs in the water with margarita service and I’d enjoy my vacation!

Dreams Playa Mujeres

This is a family-friendly property.  It has many activities for the children to do, we stopped by the activities areas and even I want to spend some time there!

Secrets Playa Mujeres

I adored the area by the Spa here, so serene and that’s the standout for me.  I will admit by the time we got to this stop; I was very tired but super enjoyed exploring the property.

Secrets Playa Blanca

Upon arrival at this resort, I immediately wanted to stay here someday.  I really loved the natural feel of the lobby, and this theme is woven throughout the entire property.  I really loved the winding pathways and there are so many nooks to explore.  There are plenty of places for you to hang out by yourself, as well as many places to meet up with old friends or make new friends! 

After we got back from touring the resorts, we had the rest of the night to do whatever we wanted.  I met up with some of my fellow agents and we had dinner at “Bluewater Grill” which is the Steakhouse on property.  I really enjoyed my steak here – though I will say in general the experience took a while, but it was fine as I was with friends!  One thing we had to laugh about was there something on the menu called “Meat Juice” and one of my agents got it just so we could know what it was.  Turns out, it was like French Onion soup without the cheese on top.  After our dinner took a while, I was so tired, I skipped the lobby bar party which sounded fun when I walked by and went right to bed!
